Outdoor Play Spaces! 

Did you know... Beaver Creek Reserve is home to TWO Nature Nook play spaces and an Obstacle Course? Thanks to our friends at Mayo Clinic Health System, 3M, and Eau Claire Community Foundation, we have more than just trails you and your family can explore. Check out our trail maps or check in at the Wise Nature Center during our open hours for more information.

Nature Nooks

On your next adventure to the Wise Nature Center, you may stumble upon our Nature Nook play spaces! Located along our paved Storybook Hiking Trail, you can read this season's story and play in the woods at the same time! Climb through a tunnel, or slide into a sandbox in our Fantasy Forest... Make nature-inspired music at Nature's Symphony... or relax on our large spider web in Little Kid Big World! Each play space offers a variety adventures for youth of all ages!

Obstacle Course

Starting near Hobbs Observatory on our North Campus, and ending behind the Citizen Science Center, our Obstacle Course is home to 12 elements for youth of all ages to enjoy! Practice your balance on our walking beam, test your strength using our monkey bars, climb our rock wall, and more! There's always something new to explore here at Beaver Creek Reserve.

Adult supervision is strongly advised while going through the Obstacle Course. For kids under the age of 8, adult supervision is required at each element.
