Visit the Beaver Creek Reserve Butterfly House
Take a stroll through our seasonal butterfly house and enjoy the beauty of some of Wisconsin Butterflies in their natural environment. Species change frequently and each year is unique. Admission to the Butterfly House is included in the cost of daily admission. Group tours are available. Please contact us for pricing and availability.
Our seasonal butterfly house is open July 5 – Sunday before Labor Day
Monday – Saturday: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Sunday: 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Keep an eye on the weather forecast! Since the Butterfly House is an outdoor building only covered by a screen, if it rains, the butterflies will not be flying around inside. So the house will be closed on rainy days. Plan your next visit to Beaver Creek accordingly!

NEW THIS YEAR! Our non-member entrance fees will be increasing for the summer during the Butterfly House season (July 5-Sunday of Labor Day Weekend). Last year, we saw a 40% increase in visitation to our Butterfly House and welcomed over 8,000 visitors within the 2.5 months.
Due to the higher demand, we have made the decision to increase our non-member entrance fees to:
- Incentivize memberships
- Maintain excess wear and tear on the Butterfly House, paths, and gardens
- Update interpretive signage
- Cover for additional staff time
