Equipment Rentals

For those looking to get the most from their experience at Beaver Creek Reserve

Trail Conditions (2/11/2025): Our snowshoe rentals are NOW OPEN! Stop by the Wise Nature Center to rent snowshoes & poles, and to check in before you explore the trails. Our cross-country ski rentals are not available quite yet! We still do not have enough snow in the forest to groom or safely ski. But check back after a fresh snowfall for updates!

Snow Equipment

Snowshoe or ski on our trails, or take them to your cabin or another local park as they can now be taken off BCR property - see daily rates below. We stop renting out at 2:30 p.m. each day, and rentals must be returned by 3:30 p.m.

All-Terrain Outdoor Wheelchair

This outdoor wheelchair is all possible thanks to funding from Eau Claire County's Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC)!

Please reserve in advance! Give us at call (715) 877-2212 to make a reservation. If you plan a last minute trip to visit us, call ahead to see if the chair is available. Reservations are made on a first-come-first-served basis.

The chair is FREE to use! However, a $50 deposit is required in advance to use the chair, but will be returned when the chair is returned in good condition.

Bring a valid ID
Bring cash, card, or a check for the $50 deposit
Sign the liability waiver in-person at the Wise Nature Center
Fill out the reservation form in-person at the Wise Nature Center
The outdoor wheelchair can ONLY be used on Beaver Creek Reserve property (it cannot be taken off-site)
